H. D. P. Samajam Higher Secondary  School

H. D. P. Samajam School is the only one High School in Padiyoor Panchayath and located in Edathirinji. In 1951 the school was established and started as upper primary. In 1979 the school was upgraded to High School. Highly educated and experienced teachers helped the students to improve their education, culture, personality and the base for their future career development. The millennium year 2000 was the success of one of the golden dream – “Higher Secondary School” and started +2 classes (Science and Humanities). The PTA is very strongly support for all the development activities in the School. Mr. P. Sasidharan is the Principal of this School and presently around 1400 students are doing their education and 70 staffs are working here. Last academic year 84% students passed the SSLC examination and 100% success in Higher Secondary - Humanities. At present the teachers, students and P. T. A. are trying to get 100% Success in SSLC and +2. Hope in very near future the school will achieve it.

• Curriculum activities - Participated in Arts/Sports/Science/Maths/Work Experience/Exhibition up to the state level.
• Information Technology - Computer and IT education conducted by P.T.A
• CLUB - Various clubs are working here in the school. The main clubs include Maths, Science, Social Science, Kindness, forest, IT club etc.
